"We cannot thank you enough for all the thought, love and creativity you put into the floral pieces for our wedding. Working with you has, by far, been the most enjoyable part of planning this wedding. You truly are an expert in your craft, and we couldn’t have been more excited to include your artistry on our big day. Thank you to the moon and back."

"I honestly have to say that my wedding florals and experience with Kirsten from Blue Morning Glory were perfect. I was connected to her through my husband's grandmother, who had heard wonderful things about her work through the Kansas Master Gardeners. I reached out, and we had an immediate connection over the phone; we ended up talking for over an hour! I felt that my vision was perfectly understood and executed.
She worked with me closely to deliver my exact ask, and the florals turned out so beautifully. Everyone on my wedding day was commenting on my beautiful flower crown and bouquet. I recommend Kirsten to anyone who is getting married in the Kansas City and surrounding areas. She is talented beyond belief and is so incredibly kind. I will forever cherish our wedding day and the wonderful connection I made with Kirsten."

"From the very first moment we got in touch with Kirsten we were blown away. Her professionalism and expertise in her craft are just a few reasons why we went with Blue Morning Glory for our wedding florals. We wanted something elegant, but fun and different. One of the best parts of our wedding was the beautiful, fragrant, and unique use of hops as the main floral. That was an idea that we never would have dreamed possible. Plus, talk about getting my husband excited about florals! What better way than to incorporate something he loves? Kirsten really worked to get to know us, our style, and what our vision would be. We never had an issue with communication, which truly made this process seamless. I cannot recommend Blue Morning Glory enough! "

"Choosing Blue Morning Glory was one of the best decisions we made in the planning of our July wedding. Kirsten is an excellent communicator and brought so much ease to the whole process. In addition to being an extremely talented floral designer, Kirsten is kind, insightful, and a wonderful caretaker of the earth. Her flower farming practices show the love and respect she holds for her surroundings. Even in the heat of a Kansas summer, beauty can still flourish. "

Kirsten was clear about what was possible and communicative throughout the entire process, which was much appreciated during a hectic time. Her feedback helped me have realistic expectations about what I could expect on the wedding day, and her design ideas were inspiring. I knew I was in very capable hands. I can't explain what that weight off my shoulders meant to me and my husband. And then we were completely blown away by the finished arrangements and bouquet. They made our wedding and reception come to life. I can't recommend Blue Morning Glory enough."

While planning, she answered all our questions, helped us crystallize a plan, and gave us great ideas for how to stay in our budget while still getting the look we wanted. On the day of the wedding, the pieces arrived, all arranged beautifully with exceptional attention to detail. With Kirsten, I didn't worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend Blue Morning Glory for your wedding florals. "

"Favorite part of my wedding planning process? (Aside from spending it with the man I now call my husband, of course.) Working with Blue Morning Glory on our wedding floral plans. Kirsten ended up being the most incredible vendor I could have asked for, and just one of my favorite human beings in general. Every flower, color, texture that was used for our wedding had intense meaning, and she poured her heart into helping us plan, for months, leading up to our wedding, with impeccable communication and organization. All while dealing with my quirky “vintage modern farmhouse eclectic” design style. Not only did she pour everything she had into our wedding day, she also sustainably grows and harvests the large majority of the flowers she uses, on her very own flower farm in Lawrence. So dreamy. I just can’t say enough about my experience working with her. She is truly a one-of-a-kind artist, person and businesswoman."
—WHITNEY R., bride
"Kirsten provided the most beautiful seasonal flowers for our wedding. She accommodated our every need, and her pieces are beautiful and thoughtful. I was so excited to work with such a gifted artist. For our wedding, the bouquet and boutonnières included seasonal herbs and flowers for enhanced mood, and it was this kind of attention to detail that she devotes to each part of the planning process. Working with Kirsten was a privilege, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable florist with impeccable taste."
—KATE K., bride
"Kirsten’s attention to the details (particularly the holistic details) as a wedding florist is unmatched as far as I’m aware. Working with her on our wedding was a wonderful experience."
—MATT S., groom
"Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Kirsten and all the beautiful things she does at Blue Morning Glory. We struggled over a florist for our wedding, knowing how unsustainable they can be, until we saw this incredible arrangement at the Cider Gallery with her card next to it. It encompassed everything we wanted: local, sustainable, responsibly foraged flowers and grasses that captured the beauty of the Midwestern prairies. We didn’t look anywhere else once we found her. Kirsten pours her entire soul into her work and it shows. Our wedding arrangements were more than we could have ever dreamed of and we cannot recommend BMG enough."
—REBECCA S., bride
"From my first contact with Kirsten, I knew she was going to be my favorite part of the wedding planning process. She and I connected on an artistic level and she was so willing and excited to bring my floral ideas to life for the wedding day. To even try and explain how beautiful, perfect, inspirational, special and intentional the bouquet, corsages, boutonnières, all of it were on the day, I just can’t. Her choices of flowers and how they were arranged just brought the historic schoolhouses, where we had the wedding and reception, alive. I am extremely happy with the way everything turned out."
—MARY B., bride
"Kirsten helped me think about what I wanted and narrow it down to specifics and was always prompt in responding to my emails. She is obviously experienced and has worked enough events to know what is needed. I didn't even think to ask about it but she helped me work through how exactly I would hang the decorations on the pews and provided heavy-duty hooks to hang my garland over the thick baptistry wall in the church (they worked perfectly!) And, of course, the flowers and greenery were gorgeous! They were exactly the style I was hoping for. I loved the from-the-field look and the use of different kinds of plants."
—ROSE F., bride
"I cannot recommend Kirsten highly enough. She made our daughter’s wedding meaningful as well as beautiful. She made this a truly local wedding by combining flowers from my garden (at our request) and her farm. At her suggestion, sacred space was created with brome hay and greenery from our farm. Vases from the wedding of the bride’s great-grandparents were filled with flowers. Thank you, thank you."
—DR. KATHERINE C., mother of the bride
"The thought and care that goes into each of Kirsten's bouquets is stunning. Her creativity and knowledge of local varieties pair perfectly to create simple yet elegant florals that are the cherry on top of any wedding day. We so appreciated Kirsten's willingness to work within our budget but not compromise the elegance we were after. Thank you to Kirsten and the entire Blue Morning Glory team! We feel fortunate to have worked with you! "
